Telesales Consultant Head office

Job description

  • As a telephone sales consultant you'll be expected to sell the medical imaging services of MRI Plus by calling prospective clients
  • You'll be set targets by the Healthcare Director. Your day will be mostly spent calling medical professionals and persuading them to either refer their patients for a scan or accept a visit from another member of the sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively identifying business-to-business sales leads with Occupational Health services, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and other referrers in MRI Plus markets
  • Communicating positive messages to all audiences by telephone and also via email and social media
  • Contributing to the selling of our services via online advertising, Pay Per Click, Networking events and Publicity
  • Working in close co-ordination with the sales and marketing teams to book appointments and ensure sales leads are effectively followed-up.
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence monthly to the Group Management/Marketing team as requested by the Healthcare Director.
  • Success will be measured by the number of MRI referrals.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education/qualifications

Must have Educated to A-level or degree level, but we will also look for personality and experience.

Desirable

NVQs in Telesales, Levels 2 and 3

Level 1 & 2 Award in Basic Sales Skills

Level 2 Certificate in Sales & Marketing

Excellent communication and listening skills

A polite and friendly manner

Lots of initiative

A positive attitude

The ability to think on your feet

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

SALARY: £16-25K depending on experience and skills

HOURS: 40 hours per week

ANNUAL LEAVE: 33 days inc bank holidays (April to March)

OTHER

Ensure that all statutory training is attended throughout the year.
